Use Hudson company for consumer proposal. Greg, Stanford was awesome to deal with very professional, kind, polite. Understood the situation I was in and the urgency of it. Managed to deal with my situation very quickly and in a manner that took me from around 100 Grand down to 30 in monthly payments over next 5 years. Love these guys! I'd use them again. I had close to 300k in debt. A large portion to the CRA. The team at Hudson and Company we amazing! They made me feel cared for, relieved my fear of being judged and embarrassed and answered all my questions! A consumer proposal is scary! But with their help it was easy. Always available and always understanding when I had any confusion. Most of all they got me down to 30k only. Which is literally life changing! Thanks so much to their whole team!

I am so sorry this review is late because I meant to post it back in September. It has been a long time coming, but I really wanted to make sure I gave credit where it is due.

Dealing with financial stress is heavy, but the weight felt a lot lighter the moment I started working with Greg Stanford. Greg is just a great guy who actually listens to what you are going through. I never felt rushed or like I was being pushed through a process. He really took his time with me.

What I appreciated most was that he was always available whenever I had a question, no matter how small it was. He didn't just give me a one-size-fits-all solution. He gave me the best advice for my specific life and my particular situation.

I am genuinely grateful for Hudson Trustees and Greg Stanford particularly. Like many, the pandemic changed many things. Getting severely ill while working on the frontlines took me from financial stability to flatlining. I called Hudson's for advice about available options to help me get back on my feet. There ARE options - from debt consolidation to consumer proposals to bankruptcy.

I appreciated that Greg reviewed my situation with kindness and humour and clearly explained how each option would look for me. He made a suggestion on what he felt was best case scenario for my situation and I was able to take that with me as I went home to consider and talk with family.

Once the decision was made, things progressed quickly and easily. It was so seamlessly handled, I have been so pleased with the outcomes.

Greg has done the follow up financial counselling with me, and I am pleased to say I feel like I'm regaining financial stability which has taken the pressure off of other areas in my life.

I chose Hudson Trustees because I was friends with one of the original partners in the company and felt that if his legacy was the pattern they followed, I was in good hands. And I was correct.

I highly recommend asking for Greg as I believe he genuinely believes in helping people make the best informed decisions for themselves at a time when it can be hard to know what to do.

The idea of having to claim bankruptcy on top of a number of other personal struggles was a frightening one that I fought. Eventually, the debt got to a point that I no longer had the luxury of choice. I looked up Hudson & Company, went in to their south east location. Within minutes of meeting Greg Stanford, the fear and uncertainty was washed away with reassurance and understanding of the shoes I was wearing.

During my time under bankruptcy, there was multiple times were "life happened", and I had to request a payment adjustment. I can't think of one time I was told no. They work with us bankrupties to get us through this tough phase, and I am happy to say that as of 7:15ish last night, their final payment came out of my bank. I look forward to seeing that release letter... eventually (court back-ups, nothing to do with Hudson).

If your needing to get your financial life back on track, I cant suggest this firm enough.

After some communication back and forth about my debts and expectations, I met with the wonderful Greg Stanford today to discuss my finances and the options that I have at hand to re-establish myself and to pay off my debts. Greg was nothing short of compassionate, kind, he has amazing people skills, and most of all, he made me feel like a 10,000lb weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Greg went out of his way to help me as there were many rescheduled appointments on my part as I am working through some health issues and not once did Greg and the rest of their company make me feel badly for having to do so, in fact, they were super empathetic about my reasons to reschedule. Now that the hard part is done, I feel like someone finally switched on that light at the end of the tunnel for me and that person was Greg. Greg, you're the GOAT! FOR REAL! 🐐

I also want to shout out Greg's coworker, Breana. She is the trustee on my file and she was thorough and was very understanding of my situation and she also did not make me feel ashamed, rather, she made me feel empowered and she put my worries to ease.
